The USDA Cotton Boll Weevil Eradication program utilizes this trap for mass trapping and control of the Boll Weevil. For those using the "Trap Index Method" to determine need for insecticide application for overwintering weevils a density of 1 trap per 20 acres is required. Replacement top assemblies are available for Pecan Weevil and Citrus Weevil traps. |
