Sap Beetles cause major economic losses every year in many crops. Research trials have shown that a dual bait lure system has proven to be helpful in battling this pest in sweet corn, date, and fig. Trap in sweet corn to reduce damage from the Dusky Sap Beetle. Any unused lures may be stored in the freezer and used the following season. The user MUST mix a secondary bait of wheat dough with active yeast cultures replaced daily with the lure in order for the system to work properly.
